Payment:
Once we receive your completed form, we will email you with an invoice for your chosen lesson length and payment frequency (per month/per term). If you commence part way through the year, you will be charged a pro-rata amount based on the week that you start. The invoice needs to be paid in full before lessons begin. Similarly, each month/term your invoice will be emailed two weeks prior, with payment due (in full), by the due date.  Please note: no payment = no lessons.

Preferred payment method is via Bank Transfer / Direct Deposit. Our bank details will be on your invoice. Payments are non-refundable.
The Annual Studio Fee ($30), which covers various teaching materials and printing costs, is a non-refundable and pro-rata amount, depending which term you join.


Cancellations:
If you can’t make your lesson you have three choices:
-	Skype lesson at the usual time, if you’re only slightly unwell, can’t make it etc. 
-	Make up lesson later in the year (min 24 hours notice required). If the required notice has been given, we are happy to schedule a make-up lesson.  All students will be emailed with available time slots weekly. Unlimited make-ups are available, and expire at the end of the calendar year, however they can only be made up in the available spots for the week, during the teachers’ normal teaching hours (check the weekly email and reply to book).

Illness 
We understand that kids (and adults!) get sick sometimes and have to stay home from school. If this happens, please text, call or email before 9am (8am on weekends) on the day of the lesson and we will schedule a make-up lesson. Alternatively if you’re not that sick, we can do a Skype lesson. It goes without saying that if you’re too sick for school/work, you’re too sick for a lesson (don’t share those germs around!). 
Practice 
Students are expected to fulfill all homework and practice requirements. As a guide, a goal of 
5 days per week is optimal. For very young students: 5-10 minutes of supervised (get involved!) practice per day. For older children and adults: at least 20-30 minutes per day is recommended. 
For younger students, the parent/guardian needs to ensure students are keeping up with their music practice. If you are having trouble, your teacher can give you suggestions/resources to help. 
Attendance 
Your lesson time is reserved for you each week, so please arrive on time. Lessons always start and end at the scheduled times. If you wish to speak to the teacher about something, please do so within your scheduled lesson time.

Permission to use student photos/videos on social media? (Facebook, Instagram..)^*

Sometimes we take photos/videos of students at recitals, earning certificates, completing lesson achievements etc. With your permission, we then upload them to various social media platforms.
